Educators play a critical role in helping every student see themselves as part of the solution to the challenges our world faces. This professional learning course honors educators' expertise and offers support for educators to guide students in developing the green skills they need to lead, thrive, and shape a more sustainable future.
Green skills—like leadership and metacognition—are essential tools for navigating a changing world. They empower students to reflect on their learning, work across differences, and take meaningful action. And when rooted in the diverse strengths, cultures, and lived experiences students bring to your classroom, these skills become even more powerful.
Over the course of two short, self-paced modules, you’ll reflect on your practice, explore strategies that fit your teaching context, and discover flexible resources to connect your content to climate and sustainability topics. This is not about adding more—it’s about deepening what you already do best: helping students discover their strengths, find purpose, and engage with the world around them.
Time Commitment:
- Module 1: 30 minutes
- Module 2: 30 minutes
This course is your companion as you support all students in seeing their place in climate solutions—grounded in who they are and the futures they imagine.
