What You'll Learn

In this free workshop, teachers can learn about the effects of climate change in New Jersey communities.

"Applicants will look at how Climate Change Impacts our Community Coastline - incorporating an interdisciplinary approach to understanding the facets of climate change. The components, processes, vulnerabilities, and resiliency of coastal systems along with the capacity of coastal systems to cope with climate change."

Stockton University will host these Core 1-6 workshops every other month at various locations and sometimes online. See the workshop calendar here. The dates for 2025 are: 
  • October 9th
  • December 10th

"This workshop is intended for PK-12 teachers from New Jersey Public Schools. All CCLC workshops are available at no cost but pre-registration is required. Teacher stipends may be available for workshops occurring after the end of the school day."

The workshop is from 9:00 am-12:00 pm.
