What You'll Learn

In this conference, people will co-create a space to explore how shifts in the food system can advance social and racial equity while also increasing climate resilience. The 2025 Maine Food Convergence Event will facilitate conversations, presentations and workshops, most of which will center voices of those who have experienced inequities within our food system.

The mostly virtual conference starts on May 12 and runs through May 29, which is the in-person event.

Examples are:
  • Centering Sea in the Three Cs of Farm-to-School: Cafeteria, Classroom, & Community
  • Centering Student Voices in School Meals
  • Hot Potato! Curriculum about climate change and resilience in the face of changing growing conditions in Maine
