Synopsis

  • These lessons examine the various causes of wildfires, the many effects of wildfires, the connection between climate change and wildfires, how to analyze the wildfire risk of a local community, and strategies for talking to fellow citizens about climate change.
  • Students will engage with online activities from the student lab resource, gather information, analyze data, write their own case study, and complete a project that allows students to participate in climate activism.
