Synopsis
In this interactive activity, students get to choose animal, weather, and character stickers in different settings to make a scene. Many of the stickers add sounds (e.g., a chirping bird, the sound of rain) to the scene as well.
As students add stickers to the scene, the narrator asks questions and provides facts about the sights and sounds associated with the sticker.
Students will enjoy this colorful interactive activity.
This resource is simple and easy to use.
Additional Prerequisites
The instructions are given when students first load the game, but if students refresh the game or start over, the instructions may not play again. Teachers may want to present the activity to the class so that there is no confusion.
Differentiation
Teachers can extend this activity by having students discuss the climates, animals, and plants they are likely to find in each of the settings. Students could also try to find things in nature that match elements in the activity.
Cross-curricular connections can be made with language arts classes, where this activity could be used as a storytelling device. Students could pick different backgrounds, characters, and animals to tell their own stories.
