This interactive map from the United States Energy Information Administration features all of the locations of natural gas infrastructure and resources in the United States.
The data includes power plants, oil and gas refineries, pipelines, natural gas transport and storage locations, oil and gas wells and platforms, and the locations of fossil resources.

Additional Prerequisites
The map can be overwhelming if all the layers are viewed at once, so students can toggle items off using the legend on the right.
